New K3 loader 2

There is a new K3 loader released, which is slightly different to the older version 1, there is no delay and more Com port options, but most importantly it doesn't recognise the old files.
This can mean that the K3 team are developing new, more secure files, that the loader is faulty, perhaps not the K3 teams work, or that there is something wrong with my computer or card, no doubt time will tell.
it programs in a similar way to the older loader.
Put your programmer into Phoenix 3.58 Mhz mode, open the new K3 loader, choose the Com port, and press connect.
Click Restore, I get C1 60 00 00 00.
Click Connect again and Download.
But as I said every file I've tried gives Invalid File.
I have used the K3 v1 loader to reload a file so it didn't damage my card.

Loader 2 will not work with the older files, and on Saturday none of the files were working so the retailer sold you a non working card, we are still waiting for new files from the K3 team.

Hi johnmina,
which file are you trying to load? Only C+ NL oct is working at present although you can open TPS using another file but this is currently available on a wide range of platforms.
Are you following the instructions for loading your card?
Set your programmer to Phoenix 3.58 Mhz
Start K3 loader and insert card
Select the correct Com port,
press connect, and reset file, you might have to change the delay to 800
Once the card is reset, hit download application and navigate to the file, it should start loading automatically.
Best wishes

Hi johnmina,
are you getting any error messages like component"COMDLG32,OCX"or one of its dependencies not correctly registered;a file is missing or invalid.
If so this is a problem with a missing file on your computer, if this is the case have a look here:
_http://windowsxp.mvps.org/comdlg32.htm
If this isn't the problem please post back with more information, about your computer, the error message, and problem. I'll try and get back online around 6 or someone else will help you.
Best wishes

Hi johnmina,
try loading your card in safe mode, hit F8 when booting up and choose safe mode, if this works you know that the problem might lie with something running in the background, in normal mode, maybe anti-virus or something else, if it doesn't work check your PC with anti-spyware and anti-virus and than check for any driver updates, also try re-installing the loader a file might be corrupted.
Best wishes

Hi drownjug,
only C+ NL is working at present, even TPS went black on the K3 card, and there are no signs of any new files, or support, from the K3 team, they haven't even produced files for D+, even when the keys are known.
At the end of the month C+ NL should change keys and if there are no new files, from the K3 team, then I'm afraid the card is useless, we can hang on and wait to see if the K3 team offer any new support but most owners have lost faith and are now expecting a new card to be released.
Following the dismal support for this card I don't think they'll sell too many !!!!
Best wishes

Hi grtzac,
no news, just rumours from members claiming to know the K3 team and promising new files, but as they have been promising new files for over a month I wouldn't expect anything, but at least C+ NL is still working even though there are quite a few small freezes.
Best wishes
