The standard retail pricing for Windows 7 will be £149.99 for Home Premium, £219.99 for Professional and £229.99 for Ultimate. The notional prices for the unobtainable upgrades for existing Windows owners are £79.99, £189.99 and £199.99 respectively. Swedish Microwave 1.2 Motorised dish / Invacom C120 twin LNB driven by the AD3000. 3 other fixed dishes.  Fighting the evil 3 Dragons under the Don Quixote banner,Sir Llew persevered where others failed | A perfect excuse to migrate to Linux. The latest Linux Mint Gloria has everything I need. Plenty of applications that are either pre-installed or can be downloaded with the package manager. I've been messing around with it on and off for a few months now. Its definitely the best debian based out of the box OS ive seen so far. Ubuntu/Kubuntu being the biggest rivals. I'm running Gloria at the minute. After installation, everything seems to work without intervention. It plays TS files recorded from the Dreambox, most codecs seem to be pre installed. A flash player is already installed, meaning you can youtube and what not. Your word/excel/etc docs open in Open Office without installing anything,. If you have a decent Graphics card, you can avail of some fancy features that go well beyond Vistas capabilities.......the list goes on. Its a very easy interface to navigate. I unleashed my technically challenged female companion on it, and she seemed to be able to figure it out quite easily. Best of all, being debian based, you have access to the 1000s of freely available apps in the Debian/Ubuntu package repositories. | ||
