My System: tm 6800 hd |
first time post but thought I'd give it a shot, my dad recently had a tm 6800 hd installed, the guy in the shop seemed to tell him all he had to do was click on links ( he gave him on paper) go to a site and he could download something that would un scramble his channels, I have looked everywhere but can't seem to work out what to do or where to get it from, the shop guy said we had to put our usb dongle in our computer download to that and put in the receiver, but we cannot find no downloads to put in, should we be paying somewhere to get this? please could someone just point me in the right place, just trying to help out my dad but I'm stuck, thanks for you time.xx

My System: 1500 Technomate, 1m Gibertini dish, Smart 0.2 Titanium lnb | google ***** for the site you want, you can either use a rs232 null modem cable which i find easiest or the usb feature ive not used, when you get on the site download the darkman loader then the latest 6800 patch.

He could try a factory reset then install the same patch again providing it still powers up

My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2. | Download the key. Use winzip or winrar or similar you open the zip file. You plug in the usb stick into any spare usb slot of your pc. Wait a few moments for it to connect. You then extract the key file to the stick which shows as a removable disk. Eject the stick & remove from your pc. Switch on your sat receiver, plug the stick into the usb port behind the front flap. It will tell you that it sees the stick in drive. Select menu/usb/data transfer on your remote, highlight the keyfile and it will update in a few seconds. Remove the usb stick. job done, no need for a loader. Thanks due to Lockey at Toes.

| Yesterday I did much the same as Jimbo has suggested, in this case the key file was in fact a softcam key file. Having no real knowledge of these files, I just plugged my memory stick into my receiver went into the menu highlighted the file and clicked OK. After 2 seconds the receiver re-booted I still had the auto patch installed by name but when I hit the Cas menu button, all keys had gone, only the names of a few providers were left. Going on to TPS France 4 nothing updated. Since then I have done a factory reset unplugged the mains for a while reloaded official soft, then reloaded the latest patch but still I have no keys showing in the Cas menu section. | ||

My System: 1500 Technomate, 1m Gibertini dish, Smart 0.2 Titanium lnb | the scart connection doesnt show a picture on the last 2 darkman patches, you must use hdmi for the hd channels and the hdmi connection gives a far greater picture quality on the sd channels as well, set hdmi to 1080i.
