Just had my 6900 delivered yesterday and been try to load patches etc but nothing opens:

Here is what it says in the system settings:

S. VERSION 6.53 JUN 2008.

H/W VERSION 1.00

BOOT VERSION 1.00

CH VERSION F010 +STD01

Do i have to upgrade to a newer version and has it got be done via null modem cable or usb.

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

Robbo71 having confirmed the software up to date, perhaps a tad more information like which satellite you are pointing at and what channel you are hoping to open would help people to help you

Sorry guys the sat I'm on is 19.2 east and the channels I'm trying to open are premiere.

I have left it on the transponder i got from kingofsat but nothing clears.


Update i have loaded the latest magic patch and the softcam, and in the system info i have cas and biss now
