My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.
TM6900 HD Super

New model in sliver or black. Now has blindscan and two USB ports. One at the front as current model plus another at the rear. Obviously found that ppl did not like closing the front flap on an external HDD lead.

Also has an eSATA port.

I think it's Freeview CB so not HD atm Eventually this might happen if the BBC tests work out but a long way off.

My System: ....

So basically it's a software upgraded version with one extra rear USB connection?

Could one upload the new "Super" FW (with the blind search function) to an older original TM6900HD box I wonder?

Has anyone actually got the "great new software" to work. All I am reading is stories of people pulling their hair out trying to configure routers. Then when they get the router set up there is sweet **** all to use it with.

White elephant if you ask me, with very limited opportunities for use.

Read my previous post! I can confirm it works, obviously cant post any further details on here, as per T&C of this great forum.

It only works with one specific emulation and there are no decent servers - end of.

Sure you could whistle it about to a few chums but it will only allow 4 chums max and anyone says any diffo is delusional.

It is more a "look at me, I have it working" chest puffer than of any real practical use.

Puff, Puff
