TM6900HD Blind Search

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the blind search option (which is NOT available on the original TM6900HD) is purely software driven or is there some hardware component needed as well?

The reason behind my query is that I would like to know if the new firmware for the TM6900 Super could be uploaded to the original box so one could get the blind search option. It irritates the wits out of me that the box is missing this one specific option

(half the fun lies in blind search)

hi i tried the 6900 super software on 6900 combi but it will not load it comes up incompatable model so it wont load

Just as well for you it DIDNT load M8 - as you should NEVER 'mix' Super & ordinary files!
The blind scan feature is BRILLIANT with the Supers, compared to the original TM6000 series which didnt have it - only thing you have to watch is that you dont put too many new channels in - or it reboots etc - gets its knickers well and TRULY in a twist!
