timeslip - how to - TM6900 HD super combo with pvr

What is the timeslip function & how do you get it to work? I can record progs to my 500gb hdd ok - but no idea what / how this timeslip works & the TM book is garbage.

Anyone enlighten me?

My System: Cuberevo Twin HD on a 85cm motorised Fracarro Penta dish. Superior Dark Motor. Inverto BLACK Ultra Single lnb (IDLP-SINL40-ULTRA-OPP)

If for example the door bells rings while watching a programme, just press the pause button on the remote control and the receiver freezes the picture of the programme you were watching and records it in the background. When you get back, just press PLAY to carry on watching where you left off (at the point it paused). You don't miss anything.

Just click the stop button when done.
