Technomate 6800 stuck on flash screen when booting

Hi

first of all,I was changing the sattelite position but suddenly motor has stopped and never moved again. I thought may be something happend in the box then i checked everything, it was absoluetly fine. Then, i downloaded latest uptade from technomate website then upladed by usb stick. Finally, on the box i can see only technomate writing i does not turn it on at all!!!!!!


PLEASE HELP HOW CAN RESET OR REBOOT OR ANYTHING TO TURN ON THE BOX?????????????

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Have you checked that you loaded the correct software? Have you tried loading another version?

You have most probably sent it the wrong software.

Not tried it on the 6800HD, but with the SD models you have to reflash it via the serial port connected to a PC via a null modem cable, using the TM Loader software. Start the download with the receiver OFF, then turn it on, for a forced download.

N.BThere are two main models of the 6800: The super and the normal one. The software is different.

Yes indeed, how would you reflash via USB? since the box isn't booting up properly. You would never get to the menu page to be able to upload the software from the USB device.

Use serial as already said!
