My System: loads of stuff, i'll get round to listing it all

last night i put a small 'review' of the these boxes on a few sites, this morning im banned from one, completley deleted from another and my posts deleted from another 2

these boxes are solid, and in my experience, out perform even an original DM500

the sound is much better than a DM500, DM500 clone and eagle box (which is a cheaper 500 clone) the picture is better and the speed at which the motor moves is much faster

EVERY enigma1 based plugin ive tried has worked, even the alshat eagle key updater

if youve used a linux based box before then youll know how to use this straight away

if you have one of these receivers, only download from sites where you read both good AND bad comments about them, as sites with a common sponsor are deleting posts praising the boxes, and instead advising people to buy cheap imports such as dm500 clones

these receivers are going to change the way people access linux receivers, and if you can find a good friendly forum that allows discussion of all the things they can do, then youre onto a winner

any questions about these boxes, or if anyone wants the images, loader etc then just shout

My Linux boxes: DM800, DM600, DM7020Si x2, DM500 x3, TM600 x2, TM500 x2, TM9100Super, TM9100

My System: Dreambox 7020si, Technomate TM600, Technomate TM9100 Fracarro Penta 85 Dish, Televes 0.6dB Quad lnb, TM SG2200 motor. 60cm Channel Master BSB dish on 28e, Mti Blueline 0.2db Twin Lnb. Rover ST-4 Meter Cyfra+ Subscription

These look like interesting boxes to play with, however i'm going to hold back a few months until support gets better for them

If they are anything like the TM9100 they should be very capable boxes, but i'm guessing they are going to be like the TM9100 were a few years ago with absolutely atrocious buggy images

Once i see a few images available for them i will definately think about buying one

My 9100 is in its box in the loft, as it has been since the end of the first week I got it. Must get it down and sell it.

@ digidude, Technomate do seem to have a following of hype spreaders, so not surprising that your submissions were treated with suspicion on some of the forums, they've heard it all before. We have removed a couple of TM Disciple/zombies from here who have attempted to spread the propaganda.

technomate are hyped too much as i have the tm9100 and hate it as its just a poor version of dreambox

there is much better receivers out, people only buy them as they can open channels etc

I'll swap your TM9100 for my IPbox 200 if you want Rolf and Wod

I'm getting bored with the IPBox now

I quite liked my old TM9100 ( Both of them ) , I only sold the last one because i had an offer for it i couldn't refuse.

The wife knows how to use the TM9100 to so its happy families all round

I only got mine to see if it was up to the hype and it wasn't, in fact not even close.

I still have my DM7000s as well as my Cuberevo 3000HD PVR, so no need to take you up on your kind offer.

It'll probably go on Ebay.

when the 9100 first came out, it was full of bugs, constant crashing, rebooting, remote commands going nuts, mine went into storage as well lol

but apart from one bug is the rev2 image, (now on rev5) ive not had any problems, reboots or lockups

Can't review the 600 but the TM500 is the dogs danglies

It will read my NDS card using NewCS and also my Conax and Viacess card using newcs or just with CCcam.

Super stable, Its been on now for 16 days with out a reboot and its still stable

the only thing that lets it down at the moment is the lack of images available for it, although i am sure this will not be a major issue in the next few months.

The unit reads a gold card and fun Card but as for a Gamma i don't know as i'm not daft enough to waste my money on cards and cams

Got mine from Ian at Southern Satellite. Excellent service and it came very well wrapped.

thanks for that nan I agree about the gammas and other cards I have borrowed a couple.

So Ccam does not read the card directly. What image and version are you using.

V Package?

If your referring to V1rg1n C@ble i wouldn't know as i detest and loath anything to do with c@ble

As for Pming you I'm sorry i don't do that either, for anybody.

This forum is meant as place for learning about our hobby PMing stuff in Private is no use to anybody else who will undoubtedly ask the same question.

I use Goldcards and Funcards for satellite only

So Ccam does not read the card directly. What image and version are you using.
UR20 using CCcam 2.0.11 and NewCS 1.65

Cccam will read my Viaccess, Seca and Conax cards although it will not read NDS cards without using NewCS

tm500

I agree with NANOCHIKIN

i have had tm500 for some weeks now and find it far superior to the dm500.

faster motor speed ,does not need reboot to move motor as dm500 did regularly.

quick channel change , far better sound quality and volume louder

nds cccam newcs no prob.

flashes in around 5 mins ftp TM linux loader

have tried 4 images all flashed ok

using UR18 at the moment all good .

would like link to UR20 if anyone got.

Nice to know there are now other images for it. I got a TM600 about 6 weeks ago, there was only the UR image available at the time.
It suffers horrribly from lip sync lag, up to 2 seconds, and despite reflashing a couple of time to see if I could cure it, I've had no success. Will try some new images and cross the fingers.
