hello I live in Rugeley, Staffordshire and I have the normal channels on my tv, but when I bought my set top box and try to find channels it comes up with no channels found. the cable from the antenna has an old amplifier hooked up and if I disconnect it my tv does'nt pick up any channels. Do I need a new antenna ? I would like to know also if an interior antenna would help, because I live in a flat. | ||

What you think is an amplifier, may well be a power supply, waht does it say on the back?

I presume that you are receiving from the Sutton Coldfield transmitter, so if you are not receiving any digital transmissions, you may need to speak to you neighbours and see what they are receiving.

I know lots of Rugeley is fairly high up - I lived down the road in Cannock for many years and know the area very well ![]() In my younger days I spent many happy hours on the Trent Valley station watching the electric locos going past ![]() If you are served by the Rugeley relay then you have to wait until September 1st 2011 - and is another transmitter only due to get "Freeview Lite" - half the service.
