DIY Homemade UHF Aerial

I've put together one of these DIY UHF Aerials. It's in the design of a grid aerial, made using some old coathangers, a 3' strip of pine, some cardboard and foil and some screws with washers!

Wouldn't be so great for outdoor use, but it works a treat in the loft

Next up........a foil satellite dish

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

Mmm

Very nice....where did you get the design criteria from?

Good job it is in the loft, the cat will not be able to curl up on it

I first saw a video on youtube with a guy making one (wasn't perfect), so I did a little research and it turns out over a lumenlabs there is a massive thread about them. Someone bought a real one and got all the dimensions, so I followed those.
