Analog & Digital Transmitter Sites in Murcia, Spain

Can anyone please help?

I am looking for a location map of TV transmitter sites in Murcia, Spain. We have a holiday home in Mazarron and wish to install a TV aerial to receive analog and digital terrestial broadcasts. I have tried a "Google" search without success.

Best wishes to everyone from sunny Spain.

Hello

Welcome to the forum twmccurry

Yes information does seem thin on the ground and maps non existent (having said that just watch someone prove me wrong)

I found this information if it helps at all

List of channels for murcia region:
tve1,la2,24h,tve50,veotv, net tv,teledeporte,veo2,cuatro,cnn+,
40tv latino,la sexta,tele5,tele5 sp.,tele5 estr.,fly music antena3,
a3 nova,a3neox,la sexta 2.

But nothing else as to the location of said transmitters

Thanks for your reply.

I yesterday temporarily fixed the antenna and received good digital channels with the antenna pointing inland towards Totana. There are some mountains close to us and I could not get pictures from any other direction. I therefore assume that there is a transmitter site located in the Totana or possibly Lorca area.

Best wishes.

My System: 1.8m PF Dish, most sky and freesat recivers, 80cm on Illusion motor and Dreambox DM7025, TDT

you can try either
tdt.es
input your postcode, confirm your town, click on details, and it tells you roughly where your nearest transmitter is (nearest town) and what sort of digital signal you may be able to get.

or
tdt1.com
select your area...

note that these sites do not have more local retransmitters on their map, many are sprouting up to cover areas that cannot get signals from the main transmitters...

Hi

Many thanks for the information. It appears that services from Lorca cover the Mazarron area. Both websites provide very useful information.

Best regards.
