Greetings I have a problem piping freeview channels around the house. Setup is: Aerial connects to PVR which loops out to Sat box which loops out to a Y splitter. One half of the Y goes to main TV, and the other half goes to a 6 way distribution amp in the loft. Now this does work, but sometimes I loose some digital channels on the bedroom TV's and very occasionally on the main TV as well. When I lose a channel on a bedroom TV, if I disconnect the aerial lead from the main TV then I get a picture (on bedroom TV). It should be noted that I live in area that shouldn't get freeview anyway. Also the PVR picture and sat picture are not very good on the bedroom TV's, so I wonder if they need a bit of a boost on their way to the box in the loft. So I think I need to increase the strength of the signal before it gets to the PVR, or should I replace the Y splitter with some kind of amp/splitter. Thanks for any advice. | ||
