Playboy TV’s basic deals, Sexcetera

Erotic adult entertainment programmer Playboy TV International, has inked several key international sales deals granting broadcast rights of popular Playboy programmes to basic cable and free TV stations in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Hungary.

Building on the ratings success of its first season of Sexcetera, UK satellite service Living TV has acquired season two of the series in addition to season one of 7 Lives Xposed and Sex Court. RTL 5 in the Netherlands has purchased 25 movies from Playboy TV International, while Hungary's Viasat 3 has bought a package of Playboy's erotic movies and series. "Worldwide markets are acknowledging the need to fill a niche that only Playboy can deliver," said Isabelle Mitsch, Vice President of International Sales. "Terrestrial TV stations are capitalising on Playboy's exclusive programming and acquiring broadcast rights for these high-quality shows."
