Power increases on DTT

The ITC have today released details of Digital Mux ERP power increases which are scheduled to occur during the first three months of 2004.

The power increases of 3dB will, for the majority of listed transmitters be applied to digital muxes 1 (BBC), 2 (Digital3&4), A (SDN) and B (BBC).

The transmitters which affected are:

Angus
Beacon Hill
Belmont (Multiplexes 1, 2, A only)
Caldbeck
Craigkelly
Darvel
Dover
Durris
Fenham
Fenton
Guildford
Hannington
Hemel Hempstead
Midhurst
Moel-y-Parc
Sheffield
Stockland Hill
The Wrekin
Waltham
Whitehawk Hill (Multiplexes 1, 2, A only)

For those transmitters listed above, no power increases are scheduled for digital muxes C (Crown Castle) and D (Crown Castle).

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Well that's reasonably good news, at least for the mainline channels, I wonder why they aren't touching the Crown Castle MUXs, these are some of the most difficult to receive in some areas.
