sci fi france without english sound?

tps france has sci fi french right? It's supposed to have an english language track but when I turn it on it's still french. Is it something with my codecs or do they just have a fake english audio track?

Well

I do not know the current situation but a good while ago TPS used to transmit both soundtracks and my stb allowed me to select one the other or both. I do not think they would go the the trouble of suppressing it so I would look at the PIDs you have for that channel

right, according to kingofsat it has:
430 fra
431 eng

(same as in my dvb viewing app)

when I select 431 the result is the same french language. Also I've noticed tps has some channels with AC3- when I select that it freezes.

They will only broadcast an English, original sound track, where they own the rights to.
Star Trek Voyager English sound track, Star Trek Deep Space Nine no English Sound track.
Try again later, if Farscape is on, that usually has an English sound track.

Shame

Well in that case they must be re-processing the films now to remove the English audio, as I said I have not been up to date with the situation for some time now
