My System: Satellite - Big Sat BS-S100 premium Xpeed Class D.I.G.I.T.A.L. Multi Satellite Receiver with 80cm Dish and UNI LNB
PCR PID / Video and Audio Codes

Hi

Does any one know the PCR Pid / Video and Audio codes for ITV / Channel 4 and BBC 2/. I have BBC1 / ITV2 and Channel 5. Any other codes and any sports channels would also be welcome.

Our installer did not complete the job but funnily enough - accepted payment.

I am using an 80cm dish - on the Hotbird satellite - with the Big Sat BS-S100 premium Xpeed Class D.I.G.I.T.A.L. Multi Satellite Receiver. I am in the Costa Blanca.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

The UK services tramnsmit on the Astra 2 / Eurobird 1 satellite cluster at 28E. If your dish is pointing at Hotbird you cant get them.

Pids are listed here:

IF your dish is pointing at 28E an auto scan should put all the channels in for you.

Pid pcr

I need to do advanced channel search with Nokia 9800S receiver in order to set only the Original audio (English, French, etc.) of a Polish channel with dual audio (Polish and Ory for Original)
The Original audio changes when I zap to another channel and it goes back to the Polish language, which drives me crazy, especially with timer recordings where I need to switch channels during the small hours.
So I thought if I scan with Advanced Search and enter the published values of VPID, APID and PCR, then I might be able to have a channel with a single audio for Ory.
But, I can't see any data for PCR. Tried Lyngsat and Flysat, but it is not given.
Tried to use SID data, but it didn't work.
Any idea where I can find the PCR PID?

Found it in King of Sat
Apparently the PCR PID is the same as VPID
But it doesn't work on encrypted channels, only on FTA channels.
The damned Nokia software didn't take into account that a provider would be stupid enough to choose Ory as an audio language selection, and they missed this out from their language selection list, otherwise I wouldn't have this problem.
Is there any way to add Ory selection to the languages list?
Is it possible to look into the receiver software and do an update?
Looks mission impossible, but no harm in asking.
