Setanta Sports 1 (ROI) 28.5e

Hi guys, I have a problem clearing this channel. It has always worked for me since I arranged the means to decrypt this channel but now it seems to have disappeared. Firstly, I am of course awaiting a response from a friend to find out if the problem may be at his end. In the mean time I've been looking into it myself. The strange thing is, I use a Dreambox with CCcam to open this channel and the softcam is reporting that the channel should be open. IE , its showing the NDS icon in Green and reporting a succesful ECM time from my source, but still black screen. I've seen that the channel had a pid change on the 1st of July, I've made this change but still nothing.

Does anyone have this channel , and if so could you please let me know the current working transponder and PID info for it .

Only in the UK. Not in the Republic Of Ireland.

i think its at their end not yours .. only available on irish card , i would of thought .. but i could be wrong ..it ain t working on mine either

That's right mate it is an irish card. As I say it always worked before. But I've not used it since the end of the premiership season. Come to use it now and it ain't clearing yet Cccam reports 100% ecm success.

i ve never had it on before , i only have or had english sub at the time , but my m8 said he had it on his cs ..so the only conclusion was he was shareing with someone with an irish card ...

Setanta ROI was often clear with a UK card. They only blocked the UK cards seeing the ROI channels when they had restricted rights.

Check what happens on the old Setanta UK channels or Arsenal TV.

Mine was working last night no problems at all...

There are 2 irish channels

1) Setanta Ireland - this will be occasionaly viewable on a UK sub card
2) Setanta Sports 1 Ireland

Unfortunatly it seems that you are connected to a payserver (I hope not), therefore you will have almost no control over the cards you will be watching from.

The card maybe 2 or 3 hops down the line, the cardholder may not have paid their sub, they may have an issue at their end...and as you are almost certainly 2 or 3 hops down the line, nowt much u can do.

I would reccomend NEVER to use a payserver, I reccomend to get your own card and share with people one on one...and therefore you have greater control with your clients / servers. Payservers are vile leaches, in my humble opponion

I can't see how you come to the conclusion its a pay server mate, I simply haven't had a response from the peer yet. Throwing out crazy accusations with absolutely no evidence what so ever like that to potentially damage someones character is not appreciated by me and I'm sure by others. I have no connections with known pay servers and nor do I want any. My server is very small and I only use Hop1's usually with good communications to the host. It has been a reliable share for the whole of last season and I was on good terms with the peer. It was hop1, and still is. That's the strange thing, I still see the card and it still says its reportedly clearing the channel. Just trying to make sure my side is right after the recent pid changes whilst I wait for his response. I have disabled my card on his line to hopefully attract his attention.

Apology accepted, no hard feelings mate.. I'm sure you can understand how that angered me slightly, on a forum as big and as popular as this I don't ever want to be associated with pay servers. I pride myself on the quality and fairness of service between me and my peers.

Guys thanks for the info. This is driving me mad. I've got the peer back now and setanta ireland is working fine from him and he assures me Setanta Sports 1 should work too, I've no reason to think otherewise as this was a good share for all of last season. I've attached a pic from DreamboxEdit to show what I'm using, but its just black, it isn't even making any ECM requests, the NDS icon doesn't show red/blue or green....

This has never been a problem channel why should it start now. Also this is reacting just the same on both my DM8000 and my DM7025.
Anyone please shed any light on what the hell is going on here ???

Frequency change by the looks of it. Theres nothing but Setanta test cards on 12560H listed on your screengrab

Setanta Ireland is on 11584H whilst the active Setanta 1 appears to be on 11488V
