RE: satellite channel guides

The problem is that each individual provider will only publicize their own programs, and anyone who would wish to conglomerate them all into a single site would have to pay each provider for the information (as well as investing a huge effort in keeping it up to date weekly).

But try this site if you had not aready come across it:

RE: satellite channel guides

Have a look at this web site:

http://www.lyngsat.com/europe.shtml
It lists just about EVERY channel on EVERY satellite. It also shows which channels are encrypted and which are Free to air. It also shows the type of encryption used.

Another useful site is:

http://www.sat-hagedorn.de
You can register for a regular twice weekly e-mail newsletter detailing all the latest channel changes.

RE: satellite channel guides

These are indeed excellent sites and should be in everyone's bookmarks, but I believe the poster wanted programme ("what's on") info rather than frequency/etc info. Programming info is not alas available from these two sources.
