Intelsat 603?

I am trying to find out if my dish can receive Intelsat 603, I have a 1M motorised dish and Force receiver. I realise that the feed signals are 4:3:3 and will need a PC card to view. But my question is if I happen to scan at the right time when the inclined orbit is at its best receiving position, should my receiver at least detect channels when I do a scan? Also is there anyway of calculating what time of day I'm most likely to get a signal?

Cheers

I would not scan for the satellite, but put in the relevant frequencies directly.

The Lyngsat charts show recently found transponders, so start with these first.

The satellite is in view twice a day on a 1m dish, plenty big enough if you are based in the UK and most of Northern Europe
