My System: GoldMaster 7400 CIM 2MB with Kaon board 12.03.a5. Sunny AT-8012D with Kaon board 16.C0.A1 Two 80cm offset dishes. One 120 cm table top offset dısh. Double output LNBs from Kipa supermarket.
Question NTV, CNBC-e, Discovery gone from Turksat 1C??

Until a couple of days ago NTV, CNBC-e and Discovery were all on 11988 V 12800 on Turksat 1C but now gone. Does anyone know if this is a permanent thing or just a technical hitch? I've found an alternative frequency for NTV but not for the other two.

My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.

Satdude gave the new location for NTV in this forum a few days ago. Might be worth looking through his informative posts. If the others aren't mentioned yet I'm sure he will be on the case very soon.

NTV has been transmitting on the two frequencies for a while now. The remaining transponder (for Europe ) is slightly weaker for most viewers, but worse for the few, they now have a gentlemans agreement not to transmit premier league footie.

There are however a number of transponders allocated to NTV feeds on the upper frequencies, which may or may not have some live transmissions of sports, so all may not be lost

They're still showing Premier League on NTV, watched the Chelsea game on Sunday. (12715V)

Unfortunately, the NTV feeds are only news feeds.

Yes, but that's on the Eurasiasat 1 east beam though.

Unavailable in the UK without a massive dish.

BTW: The freq. you posted is Horizontal.

True, but I kicked this off because I live in Turkey and my question was about Eurasiasat (or Turksat 1C).

Satdude, thanks for your info - I also picked up the changed settings for CNBC-e and Discovery (Turkey) from your listings, cheers.

Channel Hopper, I hope your info about soccer isn't right! Can you point us to your source of information?

A good magician never gives out the secrets, but suffice to say the suggestions of removing a number of similar programming to BSkyB for the UK have been on a number of sites for the past three weeks, you may be lucky with the East beam transmissions.

NTV still showing premiere league football - today I'm settling down to watch Man U v Southampton, followed by Liverpool v Everton, and then tomorrow Chelsea v Bolton.......

Maybe you can confirm the two frequencies you can receive have similar programme content. This may make the rumours of different broadcasting rights unfounded.
