Hi guys,can anyone help please,my vantage hd7100ts receiver has stopped working by remote unit the batteries are ok,the unit works by front panel,many thanks in advance.

Have you a TV/VCR/SAT selection button on the remote? Maybe you pressed the wrong button?

You can check if your remote is working, by pointing it at your mobile phone while in camera mode.

When you press the buttons on the remote and look through your phone, you should see a light coming from the remote.

If not then the remote is broken

Hello again,i have a tv button on remote but receiver is switched on by stb button,my mobile is old model without camera however you can hear a remote working by small radio on low freq am band,the night before the remote worked 29 foot across the room,am wondering if the sensor inside the set is faulty,i was just wondering if anyone else has same problem with this set,thanks for your help so far..

Hi guys,even though the so called self test for remote battery test came out ok,got two new watch type batt which fit this remote,they where hard to get,remote now working great,i think will get the upgrade remote available for this vantage,thanks again to llew and crossbones for your help.

hi there i was interested in buying a vantage hd box but had a few questions before buying it.


1) how do i load the firmware such as codes
2)does it accept smart cards like dragon loader cards and cams
3)what else will i need to buy with it to get me sitting down watching tv.


help will be much appreciated.

your remote is ok nothing wrong with your remote i own the same receiver i had the same problem like me you probably try to patch the reciver probobly
wrong software your vantage carries two years warrany you have to send it back
to the dealer dealer will fix it for free
