Vantage 7100TS channel & Settings editor

Is it me or is the downloadable channel editor and settings editor a fairly useless piece of kit?

To start with they appear to be the same thing with a slightly different interface

Editing of channels seems limited to say the least and no obvious way to say, add or move a channel. The only thing I can see that you can do is change the PIDS etc of channels.

Also on their site is the downloadable channel list:
Kanalliste File, 721.97 KB
Kanalliste mit Bundesliga5 ( laut satcodx ) File, 721.97 KB
Kanalliste File, 721.97 KB

if you download any of these and read them in the aforementioned program, they're all the same and the only stallite with any channels listed is Astra 1E-2C all the others read 'No Channels'

What's going on? can anyone explain?

My System: Nanoxx 9500 HD, Vantage 7100S, Octagon 918HD, Interstar 890

They are very similar and have same interface. channel editor lets you upload firmware through RS-232 port.. Never tried to add channel but moving is very easy -- you need to highlight them, use CTRL+X and move cursor to the dresired position and then use CTRL+C
