Hi there, I am having problems with programming a viaccess wafer, I have a digiquest p2000 with two cams built in, I have already programmed a seca wafer which works fine, when I insert the programmed viaccess wafer the machine locks up, has anybody any ideas, I have tried all the codes I can find using a Vxmulti to Program the cards the software on the digiquest is 2.000007 Any help will be appreciated, Jeff…

LAST EDITED ON 02-Jul-01 AT 07:04 PM (GMT)[p]**moved here from the "keys" forum. Probably not a keys issue** Is the card initialising? Are you using an SMD wafer (visible surface-mounted chips)? Some embedded CAM slots are such that the SMD chips despite their low-profile and positioning on the card nevertheless prevent the card being fully inserted (whereas the can be fully inserted into a CI CAM as its "cut-out" at the slot is larger). Have you got the card right way up? (had to ask....) 2old | ||

I programmed both cards with the seca codes to try to prove out the embedded cam slots, the machine saw both cards. I am using flat gold cards nothing visable apart from the contacts. I also wondered about which way up so I had a look with a torch to confirm, P.S. sorry for posting to the wrong forum not sure where the problem lies!! Regards, Jeff...

Hi there, Yes I have tryed those files will similar results, The receiver seems to have taken a turn for the worse, it now says both cards are in the machine even when they are not I have tryed rebooting and updating the version software but this is not helping, I have phoned the supplier and he`s trying to find the frequencies for ver 2.0008 if that doesn`t work back goes the receiver. Regards, Jeff...

Hi. For information only, The receiver was at fault, Wizard have supplied me with a new Digiquest, with the updated version of software (2.0008) I have now successfully programmed a viaccess wafer with my VXmulti and all is working fine. Thanks for all your help. Regards, Jeff...
