Hi guys i got tired of my gold cards and bought a fun card 4 at a bargain price of 1.50. What sort of hex files do i program it with so i can clear viaccess channels? Do i use 6in 1? i Have no cam just viaccess embedded.

I am not aware that you can now gov400
I would have said you would need an MR MRV or Dragon but if you have no cam slot it could be a problem. But I've no doubt l'll be corrected by someone with more knowledge of your particular setup.

As garfield57 said via1&2 files for gold/funcards should work in your via cam.

matrix reloaded and revolutions cams can be updated using pcmcia slot of laptop although you do occassionally get problems when the cam refuses to initialise (but this is most likely with well used cams and not new ones), then you need to program with cas interface.

Alternatively if you want a well supported cam go for the dragon but you wont be able to use laptop or cas for this. The cam is updated using a dragon loader pic card or a fun7 card, so you will need to buy a programmer.
Your choice mate
