can anyone tell me why i cant burn spice platinum to dvd even though i can record it to hard drive and watch it on my pc using win dvd. I recorded it to hard drive with altdvb. I have no trouble recording and burning multivision which i recorded using my theatre with nero 7.
Nero wont even open the files recorded from spice platinum, are they coded so they cant be burned . Any help would be welcome thank you.

My System: set up on hotbird

Never tried but get pvastrumento to clean up the file.Load into Tmpgenc Express and get the bit rate you want and line rate.Put output file into Tmpgenc Dvd author and burn with Nero, worth trying.

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

try videohelp.com or google ".ts to dvd"

My System: Twin monoblock and twin LNB on 80cm transparant dish rigged for twin reception from HB Astra 1 and 2 + TopField TF 7700 HDPVR + TwinHan VisionDTV

Have a look at doom9.org under Guides -> TV-Capture -> DVB to DVD

You can use pvastrumento or ProjectX, both are described including all the other steps

I haven't been able to try it yet but apparently Nero 7 can do it.

My System: Dusty Dreambox 7000s, & Sky HD.

Best one by far is dvr studio pro, does it all in one. Should be free trial version. Only my opinion though. burn about 8 discs per week. No problems that i cant overcome.

Happy Dreaming
