An information about the blocker for newest PC2.X Viaccess cards appeared on Internet in the end of August. The websita informs how to make such blocker and publish a list of required equipment. There is even a photograph of the blocker with new card of the Russian digital packge NTV+.

Blocker for Viacces PC2.X cards, wrongly known as Viaccess 2 encryption, is supposed to block cards communication with satellite package or channel operator. Similar blocker suppose to be created for Irdeto cards (so called Irdeto 2), for example for Greek Nova package.

What can you use the blocker for?

Is it a step in the right direction towards "hacking" the new cards?
