Red CAM and season interface 2?

I just purchased the via Red CAM and season interface 2 from www.******.com!
I also bought a Samsung DSR3800 Receiver. Could anyone tell me if I got any chance to emulate the smartcard with this setup? Thanks!

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Yes you can with anything in the old Viaccess system, but not the new one.

What are you trying to receive?

Hi Rolfw,

I try to receive programs from Taiwan International Satellite TV. Could you tell me how to check if the CAM is old or new? Does Red CAM means it's the new one? I searched the web and found out Matrix Reloaded CAM seems to be very
popular, can I use it to replace my CAM? Thanks!
