Please don't look at the thumb until I have finshed. So, I spent most of the day barking at the computer working with FLV's (Flash Video files/players). Bleh. I decide to stay at the computer for some RnR because my digibox is dead, and I am getting bored with my John Carpenter collection (always hated his electronic music) - watched the original FOG last night and fell asleep. Whatever, me goes onto one of those dating bored's (sic). Sweet, nice profile: about my age, a taller 6'2", interesting details - notices only the one pic. Lives in the neighbourhood - lets take a look at that pic then. ....................... WTF An office? OMG, not colour-coded files? And, then, (like I should have noticed at first, but didn't, true!) there is an effing great big parrot on his shoulder. I have only just stopped wetting myself. Now I know why some guys are destined to stay single. And with that beast as a party stopper - I guess he won't find a date on that site. Hobbies: party magician (just made that up - but could suggest it to him, hehe.) Made my day though Moral of the story: never take pics of you at work or behind a computer (unless you are naked) so that people don't notice the shit in the background. Do NOT under any circumstances be seen to be flirting, rubbing, stroking, having sex with animals when the pic is to be used for a dating site. Doh! .

My System: Pace 2200 Sky digibox with ftv card, Comag SL65 FTA sat receiver, 40cm Sky minidish, Setpal terrestrial receiver (for free uk tv only!). | Looks like he's already got a bird. (Bird, = 1960s slang, meaning "girlfriend", or possibly more generally a young lady). (loud groans, oh no, it's Spiney's "sense of humour", help .....!). Don't like any of John Carpenter's films. Apart from the brilliant Dark Star, best thing he ever did! (and despite his The Thing being "closer" to Campbell's original story than Seigel's - much better - 1950s version). His music for Halloween was memorably good, though.
