Live launch Nasa TV today 12/01/05

Hello all

Just in case anyone is interested, there is a live launch on Nasa TV today of the deep impact module, which will be used to collide and blast a hole in comet Tempel 1. This will allow Nasa to see just how a comet is constructed and to hopefully answer some very important questions about life itself!

Coverage will begin at approx 16.30 gmt, with the launch being approx 18.45.

If you cannot access this channel through your dish then the website, with live streaming coverage, is: http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/de...ain/index.html

Regards

Phil

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Its about time NASA was on on of the Eoropean sats. Surely some tiddly station could broadcast the high speed web feed for some cheap programming?

Friendly tv (ultra low budget station on the sky platform) got agreement to show it for free a couple of years ago without any problem
