However, she finds out that the boy just wants to escape from her and hitchhike to Los Angeles. She persuades him to accompany her back to the west coast--secretly planning to leave him at his stepfather's along the way. Toby is happy to take her up on her offer.

A quack doctor prescribes a course of experimental therapy, restraining him in a heavy duty straight jacket-like device, and locks him away in a body drawer of the basement morgue. During course of his treatment he gets flashbacks and visions of his future , where he can foresee he is to die in four days time. The catch is he doesn't know how. Thus commences the classic race against time.

The Hand who have the policy of, "If we can't have her then no one can", send their own people to kill her. Elektra then allies herself with the Miller's and helps to protect them from the Hand. The journey to the climax, the ultimate battle between good and evil for the treasure, has some interesting revelations, heading for a finale with an interesting twist.

The story is a redemptive tale for characters who are polar opposites. The cop, a dark guy and a heart attack waiting to happen, who is escorting this witness who is a 14-time loser with a sunny outlook.

This movie, actually, is a modernization of the original "Twelfth Night, or What You Will" by William Shakespeare. Duke (originally Duke Orsino) likes Olivia (originally Countess Olivia) but she does not return his love. When shipwrecked Viola and her twin brother Sebastian are separated and washed ashore (in this movie Viola's soccer team is canceled so she goes to another school disguised as her twin brother to play, where she meets Duke) Viola goes to work for the Duke under the guise of Cesario (a name they have cut from the movie, and a job they technically eliminated for Viola). She acts as his pledge to woo Olivia and when Olivia falls for Cesario (actually Viola disguised as a man) a whole play, or now movies worth of hilarity ensues. All in all, this is very similar to what 10 Thing I Hate About You, and O did for Shakespeares Taming of the Shrew and Othello respectively. If you don't enjoy reading or watching classical Shakespeare, this is the kind of movie for you.

A former US Operative (Patrick Swayze), who lived in Russia in his earlier years and had been married there with a child, comes out of retirement to face down a former enemy (Patrick Bergin), now running as a candidate for President in modern Russia. Working with a Russian policewoman (Annika Peterson), they work to uncover a plot to use biological weapons against certain factions of the Russian people to commit genocide. The virus would also be released in other populations, but would be treated making the candidate a hero. A side plot has the agent being reunited with his long lost daughter. Michael York also appears as the head of the operatives.
