My System: STRONG SRT4400, TEXAT 9300 |
I have PSUs that have had the following output readings in a couple of sat boxes 3.3v, 5v, 12v these never really alternate to much but there are 2 other outputs that sit within the following ranges on [18 - 21vdc] and [23 - 37vdc] ranges. The signal and data readings show up ok when the psu outputs are within these ranges. Would anybody know exactly what the voltage readings should be as I don't have any schematics. thanks

My System: Mostly gathering dust cos there's no room for dishes here... :( The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | I haven't an answer, but a suggestion, adding the models of the sat boxes would help, as there are thousands of different boxes out there with different PSUs, so narrowing them down to the ones you have would take some time...

| Depends what PSU they are from and what they are trying to power. The 27V one could possibly be the one driving the tuner and the other would be used to feed the LNB with the 13/18 polarity switching via a transistor. | ||
