The MiL bought a birdbath solar powered fountain a couple of years ago. The water is quirted up a pipe that passes through the middle of the solar panel, the pump and small rechargeable sitting below the panel in the water. I think it was left out in the winter and the solar panel has cracked. Anyone had any luck with spares for something like this?

The original has the PV panel sitting in the water with the pump below which solves the problem of where to mount it but has to be more prone to freezing damage. Having seen your link, there are loads similar on E__y and much cheaper. I just didn't manage to find any yesterday :-)
