Satellite receiver Metronic Dualis - Schematics?

Hello,

I used a Metronic Dualis for almost 2 years and suddenly it died! I have no knowledge about electronics so after checking that the fuse was ok, I put it aside and bought a new receiver. Recently, I met someone who is willing to look at the problem but he first wants to see the schematics of the receiver. I have tried several searches (including the site eserviceinfo) without success. Does anyone have the schematics for the Metronic Dualis 441350?
Thank you.

Hello Topper,

Thank you for moving my question to the right part of the forum.

I actually found this forum (and the other post) while doing a search for the Metronic receiver I have and thought it would be a good place to ask for help.

Hopefully someone will be able to help!

My System: At the moment got an old a Metronic Dualis box working + 1Metre dish, moveable within 20 degrees. Got Astra 19deg sorted need to swing onto 28deg, also must learn French to read its instruction book!

Hi I fixed mine (re R108 post) I would think it is its power supply as that is mostly the thing that fails in most equipment.

The Dualis to me was not a great looking design, as for schematics or any help from Metronics for technical information you will not be lucky I have tried and failed, they want you to return it to them in France.

If its the power supply I could possibly fix it (No guarantee) I am a former service engineer who dropped out of the "game" in 97 due to ill health but still do the odd thing now and again.

Sorry for a late reply to your post have had other things to do, if you are interested in me trying just leave a note.
