My System: Triax 1.1m and Orbital 80cm Motorised Dishes. Various fixed Dishes. Eclectic selection of Digital and Analogue Receivers. Complex switching and distribution that SWMBO cannot fathom. Nor me.

Depends upon exactly where the break is - if it has just fractured the short stub from the female centre core to the tuner, I should have thought you could either resolder it in situ, or if it access is too confined perhaps you could try removing the tuner model and the socket to repair on the bench, before refitting it.

Can't really say without seeing it!

Hi Turok ..
A Definative yes m8 ..
I do this sort of repair regularly...its in my job description..

Broken aerial sockets on terrestrial TV tuners ..Cable boxes...and Satellite boxes..
The fault usually has occurred when the owner removes the stb from their system ..without removing the antenna cord first ..
..It snatches and the connector seperates from the tuner.
The material of the tuner is basically tin coated metal ...and resolders easily with a hot enough Iron..
Just make sure to resolder the centre pin first if possible ..this gives an anchor for the broken socket and holds it in place whilst you flow solder around the outer connection.
