My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

It's the power supply, classic Pace problem, right across the range. We don't deal with cable here, but I'll transfer this to the Workbench section and see if anyone has experience in the repair.

This can happen with a power surge - you could try contacting your insurance company they sometimes cover this.

Try a phone call to PACE they can repair the box or sell you the parts (much cheaper).

You will have to have some electronics experience to repair it yourself or get a electrician friend to do it.

My System: Pace 2200 Sky digibox with ftv card, Comag SL65 FTA sat receiver, 40cm Sky minidish, Setpal terrestrial receiver (for free uk tv only!).

There's companies that repair Pace sky digiboxes, which usually means power supply, ntl boxes probably have same components, so might they do that too? Worth asking.

My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2

Although they do not mention cable, it may be worth emailing these guys...

I've used them before, and they were good.
