Diablo CAM doesn't recognize official Conax card

My Diablo Cam Light doesn't recognize my offical Conax card. When I read the smartcard info from the menu, I get Coding System unknown and the respons to the ATR is only 3b and not the rest of the ATR response string.
The card works fine in an offical Conax Cam so the problem is in the Diablo Cam.
The Diablo Cam does however read Viaaccess 2.0 cards correctly.
Can it be a problem with the clock frequency setting for the internal cardreader?

I have tried to load many different firmware revisions but it doesn't help.

The rest of the cam functionality works just fine.

A tip on how to solve this very anoying problem is highly appreciated.
