My System: Dreambox 7020 Kaon KSC570 |
As i'm new on this forum i would first like to say hello to everyone on this forum. Also i would like to thank the people who have provided very useful information on the forums. But now comes the problem part. I' m using a diablo cam light 2.3 (with latest uw version) together with a Dreambox 7020 (image version PLI). When the cam is inserted in the Dreambox i have 3 or more times an hour very short disturbing flashes on my TV screen and this not only on encrypted channels (also FTA). When removing the cam the problem does not occur. I also used the cam with another Dreambox image the original and Gemini and this gives the same problem. The diablo cam together with my other receiver (a Kaon) does not give this annoying disturbings on my TV. Any help with this problem is much appreciated. Roky

![]() | Seeing as this problem does not occur with your other receiver the problem must be down to the Dreambox. The Diablo Cam gets very hot so you need plenty of ventilation around your receiver, I have to have blocks under each corner of my receiver, raising it a couple of inches, to allow airflow under the receiver. I'd check with other Dreambox owners to see what image, and software, they are running as this problem hasn't been widely reported.

My System: Dreambox 7020 Kaon KSC570 | Hi Mickha, Thanks for the quick reply. I have checked the temperature off the Dreambox and the Diablo Cam. Both are warm but not really hot. I also have had the problem a couple of minutes after the box was started from a full shutdown (so it couldn't be that hot). So i think the problem has to be due to the image and software on the box (as you have stated in your post).
