Hi all, been looking around this site for the past 2 hours what a great site, so i joined, anyway i have a Humax box can't remember the number but was told it was a z version? Anyway i had this box patched last year and it worked well, so i had no cam but a card, looks like a channel 4 logo with adam ant on it lol well i got it updated yesterday and can get Premier on 19 east so is there anything else it is likely to open from a differant satellite say 13 east before i start messing around with my dish? One other thing is it worth me buying a diablo cam and cas 3 or sticking to what i have for the time being? Many thanks in advance.

![]() | You should be ablle to open the Polsat package on 13E and the Digi TV package on 1W. The Diablo 2.3 Cam will currently give you the extra packages of DigitAlb 16E and Canal Digital 1W.

My System: Humax | Well i did move my dish but for some reason (maybe tree) couldn't lock onto Hotbird so havn't found out if i can get the other channels yet? But, again with all the reading i have done it seems like we won't get hardly any channels soon with the new secure encryptions that everyone is talking about so i guess it's not worth buying a diablo cam or will they still work? All getting confusing now

My System: Innovative; Triax 1.1m, Jaeger H-H 99 Gold | What size is your dish fella? Hotbird sends out a very strong signal and it would be surprising if a move of the dish by 6 degrees from the Astra sat at 19e to Hotbird at 13e would result in complete signal loss even if there is some kind of obstruction like a tree. I'd have another go - more likely that you've got the wrong dish angle or something. I find these things very useful when aligning the dish: _http://www.southernsat.co.uk/index.php?l=product_detail&p=189 They make an increasing audible noise as the signal strength gets higher, so it#'s easy to tell if the dish is actually locked onto a satellite. My System: Humax | Thanks Flash for your advice, at the moment im only using a zone 2 sky dish, never had problems getting hotbird in the past as you say its a strong sat, i will give it another go this evening, where i am staying i have the dish at ground level can get 28e and 19e no problem though.
