Diablo 2.3 and 19E

Looks like I may have been suckered into buying 2.3.
These are my first few steps into the Satellite world, look like I may have gone wrong.

Can any of you offer advise on how to get my Diable 2.3 card working. I have underworld version 1.37 on the diablo, but cant seem to get ALL the channels up. Dish is pointing to Astra 19.2E.

I have enabled all the CAS sub-sections to ON, on my Passion, and chosen 1-emu 2-cards.

And under Configuration I have Auto PMT ON, Emulators ON, N2 AU ON, Fixed CW OFF.



Can anyone advise?

Best to post again by starting a new thread instead on adding to an old thread.

But - most important - say what channels you are trying to clear on 19°e. Give transponder details plus channel names.

I have moved your post to a new thread.
All that you can currently clear on 19E is the Premiere package.
Your Cam settings are correct for doing that but to get the most from the Diablo 2.3 you really need to be picking up other satellites as the Diablo 2.3 can currently open the following main packages:
Premiere 19E
DigitAlb 16E, except for the HD channels
Polsat 13E
Canal Digital 1W
Digi TV 1W
Do you have a fixed dish on 19E, or a motorized set up?

I now have Diablo and CAS 3+...ok the next stage...what do I use gold card, or other smart card for. Tried searching forums, but too many adds.

No need for gold card or other smart card for 99.99% of all channels that the Diablo cam can get.

Use the cas to write the underworld file of your choice on the diablo cam...... the put it into your reciever, adjust settings if needed & off you go.
It would also be worth saying, if its not working try looking for a list of recievers with which this problem has appeared in the past!!! Not sure if you will find it here on the board but i know the German boards are usually up to date!!!!

Thanks for all you help. I think I now must buy a motor for my dish, I cn no longer get P.r.e.m.i.e.r. on 19E. Dis this the same for everyone else, or is there now an underworld file for it?

Premiere has upgraded to Nagra 3 encryption and is unavailable to everyone, although with Underworld 148 you can open a few of the channels still using conax encryption, but not many.
Polsat, 13E, has also switched and is no longer available, but with a Diablo 2.3 you can get DigitAlb 16E and two good packages on 1W, Digi TV and Canal Digital.
With the latest data bin file you can also open Sexview and Free X, two porn packages on 13E.
