The new Sky white card no longer works in any current cam.
The Cyfra+ and Digi TV card should work in any multi cam, like the Dragon or Diablo, providing it is loaded with the right software, but I'm unsure if either of these cards are paired to official receivers, or the ability of the cams to update the card.
Have you got the new Digi TV card? It might be worth checking with your supplier regarding any limitations of the new card, including if you now require an official receiver, for updates.

old digi card. The cyfra works in any multi crypt box so as the digi one. so the dragon or diablo will work wonders i take it? I will invest in one of those. speaking of sky my new card arrived a few days ago....

Digi TV will soon be upgrading their encryption so the old card will no longer work when they do.
Have you got a card programmer capable of programming a Fun 7 or Dragon Loader card, in order to upgrade the Dragon Cam.
If not you should think of getting a Cas 3+, which can program both Diablo and Dragon Cams, as well as cards.
Considering the total cost it might be worth considering getting a cheap Dreambox, or other linux based receiver, which is capable of reading the new Sky white cards, and other cards, but at present can't update the card with the stay alive command.

I dont have a programmer my friend. I will see whats cost effective. I have a Sony Bravia coming this week coming from abroad it's more advanced than the UK versions it has a HD tuner in built etc. so thats why i want a CAM so I can put any card....

Ok so you can buy it but you don't seem to realise the futility of asking that question, the TV might not recognise the cam you put into it for starters...... also since you are intending using a non UK TV it is optimistic to say the least to think that someone else may have that specific combination of non UK TV, cam and card, whatever your final combination turns out to be, a number of cams are not recognised by stb's especially the multicrypt ones
