![]() | Hi able, what kind of Dragon Loader card do you have ?? Has it got Fun 7 written anywhere on it or F48A ? Both cards are programmed differently. If it is the F48A and you're using the Dragon Loader software, you need to point to the predator.dra file after pressing program card. If you've used Winzip, to unzip the file, you should find it in C:, Unzipped, Predator 3.11. Please post back with more details on your loader card before proceding. Best wishes Mickha

First, thanks for your offer of help. I am a total ignoramous on theses matters so please accept my apologies if my answers appear stupid I have checked my Dragon loader card and it has F84A printed on the front. As I have said in last message I am not offereed any alternatives when I press PROGGRAM CARD. A drop down menue asked me to put a disk in drive "Y" (my cd writer drive) and the machine then locks up. From the list of items on the drop down menu on Dragonmodual web page I selcted the last item which was the only one lsting Dragon Load. was this not correct? Able you advise to

![]() | Hi able, what make/model is your smatmouse programmer, this is important? To program the F84A you need to put you programmer into 6Mhz mode. For software you can use this site: _http://www.ucassupport.nl/dragonsupport/english/Software.htm Once your programmer is on, start up Dragonloader, insert your card, chip face down, and press connect. Then press program card, where it says "look in", at the top of the box, click on the drop down arrow to the right. Then click on Local Disk C, go to unzipped, and double click or open , then to Predatator 3.11 and them predator311.dra and open. When it says card loaded, you now have to load your Dragon Cam, follow the next set of instructions exactly, as failure to do so could damage your Cam. If your Cam is not in the receiver. Make sure your receiver is tuned to a FTA channel, switch off your receiver. Insert the programmed card into the Dragon module, chip face up. Insert this into your receiver and turn on the receiver. If your Dragon Cam is already in your receiver, tune to a FTA channel, I always use BBC World. Turn off your receiver. Insert the card, chip face up. Turn on your receiver. Go to the Common interface menu on the receiver, and select the "Dragon Loader" module. In the next menu, select "yes, Load module". Now a menu appears indicating that loading is in progress. To see the actual porgress percentage, select "refresh". There is no auto-refresh because some receivers had problems with that.... When loading is complete, a menu appears saying "Loading successful". REMOVE the loader card from the module. Turn off your receiver. Now turn on your receiver and your Dragon Cam should be updated. If you experience any problems please post back. Best wishes Mickha

![]() | Hi able, a fun card 7 programs like any other fun card, so you don't need to use a Phoenix programmer, however your programmers software does have to be updated to handle the large file size. As your card is the F84A loader card you just need to put your programmer into 6Mhz mode and use the Dragon Cam loader software to load your card. _http://www.ucassupport.nl/dragonsupport/english/Software.htm is working now 17:38 10/05, remember to remove the underscore at the beginning of the address. If you put your programmer into 6Mhz mode, insert your card and follow the instructions from my previous post you should have no problems. _http://www.ucassupport.nl/dragonsupport/english/Programmeren.htm Please print out and follow the second part of the instructions, on how to update your dragon cam, as this is where you can damage your Cam.
