All cams have limited scope for support eventually - I have plenty gathering dust - but the Diablos are the best for support at present.

To programme a Diablo light cam you require a Cas 2 or Cas 3 programmer, if you have one, programming the Cam is quite easy.

First ensure you have the latest software for your Cas programmer, currently CIS 8.2.

Download, and uncompress, the latest Stealth firmware, currently Stealth215, you might require Winra,r or Winzip, to uncompress this file.

Once downloaded, and uncompressed, move stealth215.dup onto your desktop, it makes it easier to locate when required.

Start up your Cas software, click on the Cam Module tab, and then click on Diablo Cam and the Diablo Cam icon that opens up.

This brings up a separate window for the Diablo Cam.

If not already inserted, please insert your Diablo Cam into the Cas programmer PCMCIA slot.

Now click on the Cam Disk Functions tab and click Format, always a good step when loading a new Stealth version.

When formatting is complete, click on the Upgrade Cam tab.

Click on the little icon, with 3 dots, at the end of the file name bar.

Navigate to your desktop and stealth215.dup, and click open.

There should now be a little green traffic light on the Start Update icon, click on this and wait for your cam to be loaded.

Once completed, exit the programme and remove your cam.

When your cam is in your receiver navigate to the menu and click on Configuration.
Ensure the following are set:
Auto PMT ON
Emulators ON
Emulator priority 1-Emu 2-Cards
Your Cam should now work.

For some channels you might need to update the keys, but most packages are currently AU (Auto Update), so if you leave your receiver on the correct channel the channel should open.

Updating the keys can also easily be carried out with your Cas programmer.
Insert your Cam into the Cas programmer.
Download the latest Diablo keys.bin file, and again place it on your desktop.
Start up the Cas software and open up the Duiablo section.
Click on the Cam File System tab, and click Connect.
In the bottom left pane click on the new Diablo keys.bin file, and click the green arrow pointing right.
Click yes to overwrite the old keys.bin file, takes a couple of seconds, disconnecxt and exit the programme.
Your cam is now updated.

They are not supposed to arrive pre-loaded, but it depends on the supplier.
While you are waiting please check out the Links Section (Formerly Nobbly's Big links), found in the general section.
You will find a lot of useful links, posted by members.

Hi eddik,
try inserting your Diablo cam in your Cas programmer. Start up the Cas software and click on the Utilities tab, top right.
Now click on the Comon Interface Host icon.
This should bring up a window showing Stealth 216, enter and alter your configuration settings to:
Auto PMT ON
Emulator ON
Emulator Priority 1-Emu 2-Cards
If you do not see Stealth 216 then the problem is with your Cam.
Download Stealth 216 again and place Stealth216.dup on your desktop.
Then try formatting it again:
Start up your Cas software and click on the Cam Module tab and the Diablo icon.
Click on Cam Disk Functions tab and format.
Once the cam is formatted then click on Upgrade Cam tab, and load Stelath216.dup.
Once completed, exit and click on the Utilities tab again and alter the configuration settings.

If you can see the Cam in the Cas utilities, then turn off your receiver for a few minute, turn it on again and insert your cam, if it still isn't recognised please post back with details of your receiver.

Sounds like a fault with your receiver as both cams are now not recognised.
Try installing your receivers latest firmware, from the manufacturers web site, and see if that resolves the problem.

It could be a conflict between cam and receiver, the only way to check is to try the cam in another receiver, if you have one, or maybe a friends or relatives receiver.
Or check for anyone, with your receiver, and diablo cam, to see if they have it working.

We will not have D+, or probably Premiere, for much longer as they are changing official subscription cards to Nagra 3 encryption, the same as Cabo.
If you have a working T-Rex/Dragon Cam in your receiver, load Predator 360, for the T-Rex v1, or Predasaur 220 for the T-Rex super 4.6 cam, both files do the same and open both packages, these files are currently AU, auto updating, Premiere and D+, on 19.2E.
Then you can await future developments regarding a new receiver.

just read on a german satellite forum that the new cards are being issued nxt month for premiere tv in germany to nagra 3 the same as cabo in portugal. On the forum site it mentioned a card called rom152 do you know anything about this and wii trex and diablo become obsolete with the changeover

The Cams will always have some use, as there are other channels, including biss encrypted channels, but I don't think they will be any use for D+, Cabo or Premiere, as if someone does break Nagra 3 they will release a card, or a new cam.
It will be interesting to see what official support is like after the 3 main packages complete the change over.

Enter the cams menu using your receivers remote control.
Click on Debug.
Then select the encryption that requires updating, e.g.
OhlAladin where you will find Premiere, Polsat, Digi TV, D+ etc..
Select the provider that requires updating and you will see 4 lines.
00-0 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
00-1 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
01-0 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
01-1 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx

If the key that requires updating is 01 select 01-0 and enter the first 8 sets of decimal keys, 3 numbers.
Once complete select 01-1 and enter the next 8 sets of decimal keys.

It's that simple.

Premiere is currently AU (Auto Updating) with Predator 363, but they will be changing to Nagravision 3 encryption, like Digital +, at some stage.
Don't believe all you read on forums, even if they knock out the AU facility, the keys are known in advance, and can easily be inputted into a cam.

You enter the keys relating to the provider, they are not specific to the Dragon/T-Rex Cam, but the same for most cams and emulations.
To update the Dragon you enter the cams menu, select Debug and then select the encryption and provider that requires updating.
When there is a key change you will find posts on this forum, with links to sendspace, or other upload sites, you simply download the new key and enter the decimal keys into the cam.
Have a practise with Digital +, I think just the Taquilla channels are still available but it is good practise.
See my earlier post on the subject.

On Astra 19E, all Premiere channels are open and the Taquilla channels of D+, all other D+ channels have now switched to Nagra 3 encryption.
You will need to update the latest keys for D+ but Premiere is currently AU.
You can also open TPS, SRG and Polsat on 13E. SRG and Polsat require the latest keys inputting.
For TPS tune to Sci Fi or France 4 until the channel opens then switch to any channel in the package.
