Is anybdoy picking up 1' West with an 80cm dish. If not what size do I need
to upgrade to ?

80cm ok for most chnls here nw

80cm should do you in most conditions, everything else being equal.

Those things being a good motor/dish setup, LNB, cable etc.

I used to get nearly everything from 1W on a 60cm on the south coast.

Try it. If it sucks, get a bigger dish, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I have just upgraded from 80 to 100cm still cant pick a proper signal.
Got 3 channels only. I really want the footy ones. I think my dish is slightly
out. Does anybody know where I can hire or buy a cheap LCD sat finder meter
from. I really want one thats tells what sat I am picking up.

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

You should be able to get most of the transponders with a 1m dish in MK, I get everything aoart from the /eastern European channels South of you in Berkshire on an 80cm.

Lidl were doing one for £3.99 last week don't know if if would be good enough - but hey at that price. If you can't get one then may a kind person who has one and is finished with it may let you have it.
