I must have done this wrong then, cut and paste over existing entries in the softcam in notepad ? does that work or am I a "thickie".....

As Razor said elsewhere, they have limited capacity for keys on the card, and to hit the obviously planned key-change-rate, I guess they will be re-using old keys all the time now.

So yes - 'key databases' are the way to go. It would be nice to write something that would dynamically swap in and out the last three keys of any given key-type, but I think it's just going to be easier to comment out old keys and then try them again next time they roll that key-type out.
