Yes, my friends - a nice 10ft long 2" diameter scaffolding pole for your dish!

Bought 2x about 20 yrs ago, but only used 1 for my steerable dish - just unearthed the other one in my garden clear out.

Collection ONLY from W. London £6, or another couple of quid if you need me to cut it down with my angle grinder to cover the cost of the cutting disk! NO offers (what do you expect at that price:)).!

John

PS: at 10ft, it's heavy :D

PS: just seen the sticky about photos, but do you really need a shot of a 10ft 2" scaffolding pole? :)

Presumably it's a thickwall galvanised steel pole. Now if it were a thickwall aluminium tube...

Not true. When I did amateur radio contesting years ago I trawled round various scaffolding firms looking specifically for the thickwall aluminium tubing as it obviously weighed considerably less than the steel ones. It wasn't easily come by but it did exist. Maybe not nowadays perhaps as that was a quarter of a century ago!

OK, I give up! Obviously it has little or no value - so now f.o.c. to anyone who wants to collect it to get it out of my garden. Pretty PLEASE:D

Not a problem because I didn't read Paulr's post for a long time - so I sat down right away after posting (was probably sitting down when I posted :)).

Channel Hopper is more-or-less in your area. He might be interested when he gets in.

Probably that on a number of forums - but, Hey, you don't feel the "bumps" without moving!

It always has value, and thanks for the offer, but I already have a few in reserve.

Putting your town in may help with another prospective magpie though.

I suspected that you are already well stocked! Location is about 5 miles N of Heathrow for anyone else who is interested.
