Is it me or is one of the D+ transponders knackered?

22000 with 7 Taquillas and Barça TV and Canal Deporte 3


i know this is only on my fta but the others have good signal, im testing them out to see if a Technomate will deffo work

just plugged a sky box in and scanned nothing (only other box i have) could it be my receiver or the lnb, other tps are ok

so if my box doesnt get anything and neither does the sky box do you reckon its my lnb?

Hi martz,
a very strange LNB problem if you're receiving frequencies above and below that transponder. If you're able to get Paramount Comedy, Calle 13 etc....., i.e. frequencies above 11097, then check your receiver to see if the channels are already there but listed under different names.
If you can't get anything above 11097 then go into your receivers set up and check the settings for the LNB.

i can get above and below that frequency and the lnb is set as universal, nothing on that tp, i cant actually see any taquillas yet because i only have an fta receiver but the tp shows as no signal, but its only a cheapo lnb so maybe i'll have to get another one but could it just be my box?

we'll ive ordered a TM1500ci+ Super for £97.50 inc delivery so i'll see if it is the box or the lnb on tuesday hopefully

got my technomate today, and that transponder appears to be working, one thing is i need to get about 3% higher signal quality for the channels to not block up, some channels 70% and above are perfect, but the 68% and below dont decrypt properly, i will try and get a 0.2db lnb as a pose to my 0.6db one now, i dont think i've done badly to get the deporte channels on a 57cm through trees, what do you guys think? and will a better noise figure lnb help?
