im gettin Alrai Tv coming through!
im sure i got it to come up once last night, but then it totally vanished,
so im a bit suprised its come through today baring in mind the heavy snow

I've been reading this Thread with interest (and envy) since the start and have had the occasional stab at getting something from this Bird, but hitherto to no avail.

The 1.1m Dish is dismantled right now, so have been using my 80cm Motorised and have finally got results:

Salahaddin 11524 V 2170 @ 87% Strength & 67% Quality (Skybox F3 Bars)

KNN 11004 H 2593 @ 88% Strength & 44% Quality

Will try jogging the dish a couple of tenths to see if this can be improved upon.

Moved dish two tenths and now also have

Drama 11478 H 2800 87% & 39%

LDC 11478 H 2600 87% & 39%

Also got increased levels on the other two Channels.




The words Chuffed and Moonboots spring to mind.

getting good signal on Afaq Tv but it says 'SID not found in PAT' on my dm800se,
anyone clearing this channel?

Being encouraged by this (and the fact there's sod all I can achieve outdoors today) I have also rationalised and optimised my 10E results.

Always surprising what a spot of tweaking can achieve.

Azaal Tv seems to be back on,
i also managed to get KNN and Alarabiy Alhadath
the pic seems to break up a little here and there on KNN,
but on Alarabiy Alhadath its breaks up a lot,
but i think thats just cause its snowing heavily here,
will be interesting to check it out once the weathers cleared up a bit

Afaq TV working OK here but it's the weakest TP on this satellite with the strongest being at over 13dB. This is on the 1.2m Fibo.

This screenshot is from my GB Quad. Have some bugs and can not solve them; Video bitrate can not be measured and Snr not shoving numbers at all. But I like amount of RAM and CPU used

Currently, the dish is relaxing in my upstairs playroom.

its a relatively new film, it came out about july 2012,
so this is looking potentially like another FTA gem lol

It's always recommended to post the transponder parameters from time to time. Makes it easier to check cos names can change or different spellings are used ;)

If you're referring to 11527V there's nothing wrong..

You can see the PIDs in my screenshot. VPID 134, APID 100
