Just nudged the dish one move west with DISEqc motor control.Quality has gone up to 52%.Good video and sound now.I need a nice sunny day to set the dish up properly.

from memory pontiend signals are good early morning getting a sunny day might be a problem :-0.

Reading this morning in brilliant sunshine are:-

11163 H 7200 SQ 62%
11390 H 27500 No Signal
11585 V 27500 No Signal
11662 V 2150 59% SQ

Seems Tps with the lower symbol rate fair better?

Good though as before yesterday couldn't get anything at all :-shifty

Nothing for me on the 1.1m ................. but then again 26E has now disappeared owing to leaves on the trees. October to April only!

And there's not a lot of point trying on the 80cm.

Yes, unfortnuately I lost 11662v late last night, about 2 hours after I got it. Nothing at all today. Strange as the signal was ok earlier last night and it's a permanent channel and the bird isn't inclined - most odd

its been a lovely day here today but not had chance to check, been trying to get the garden in a better state,

anyway like I said for me the signals come and go, I will try and monitor them over the next few days,

at the moment I have 11163 @ 51% 11390 @ 49% signal breaking up 11585 @ 46% signal breaking up 11662 @ 63%

It must be the exrta 20cm .martin.I have nothing here..Not surprising really.It's banging it down.

overcast now here but the signals are getting stronger and I can lock them all, 11662 is coming in @ 72%.

Well I dont quite believe this.Just had a look at 11662v. 50% perfect vision and sound..It was not there not long back.It has stopped raining though.

you will get this ponti with fringe some showtime channels are like that for me on 7w I also get it on 36e 33e 30e last time I locked it etc etc, I don't know ?

I know what you mean .When I loose something I tend to got to one of the fringe sats,in case the dish has moved...Usualy 7.3 West.If I can get JSC Sports ,and ad sports I know the problem is not at my end.Just had a look .they are there.I tend to use mahbooba is a guide.too.

i don't know how this all works ? but if i nudge my dish on a certain weak tp i can gain 5/9% /lose on another tp /visa versa

and that can make a difference from a lock/no lock as you know, but then i can lose the lock i had on a weak tp ?,

it must be the power sent out from the bird along with other things ?,

whatever it keeps us going :-)

A bit off topic.but I once set my system up on 7.3 West to get better reception.But I lost 39 and 42East.Now I adjust the satellite position.I think that 7.3 is set to 7.5 on my TM5402.

its all nudge nudge with a polar mount, the dish is set to were you put it, pressing the blue button on the tecnomate is good for fine tuning :-).

I am only getting 11163 and11662 atm I have a lock on both 50/51% nothing from the other tps.
