This is a quote from Expat’s Astra 2D site? (www.astra2d.co.uk) if you haven’t seen it already.

I get nothing at all from 2D and some break up and loss of some (but not all) southern 2A/2B transponders on a 1.8m dish in Helsinki with a Panasonic TU-DSB30, a 0.6dB MTI LNB and about 10m of cable. The dish is located in east Helsinki. I recently replaced the receiver, we previously had a Pace BSKYB2200 and I can confirm the Panasonic TU-DSB30 is much better for the weaker southern transponders.
We're looking at getting a bigger dish in the future, but for now the 1.8m will have to do. 10m of cable used.
